Paul Chen is the Vice President of Research for TechExecs Network and is the person primarily responsible for directing CIO Peer Research. He has worked for over 20 years at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and market research, mostly in service to the world's largest solution providers – IBM, Microsoft, HP, Dell, SAP, etc. He is very excited about shifting perspective and helping CIOs and senior IT executives do their jobs better, especially since his father spent much of his career as head of IT at an institution of higher education.

Our Advisory Board

The CIO Peer Research Advisory Board will assist in several ways, but its biggest contribution will be savvy inquiry.

Here’s how it works. Once a research topic is selected, the Advisory Board plays the role of research client. In essence, board members represent subscribers and similarly interested senior IT executives. They work with the TechExecs’ VP of Research to develop the perspective and framework for each study and then help flesh out the questionnaire to ensure that the most important questions are asked. Our Advisory Board, in other words, have a big part in developing peer insight.

We are very proud and happy to have the following heads of IT serve on the CIO Peer Research Advisory Board.
